local public facilities
Crest Nicholson has already held five Public Exhibitions and a number of subsequent meetings with local groups to discuss its proposals. As a result, the company is aware of local concern about the existing shortfall in the range of local public facilities within the Quedgeley and Hardwick area. The Masterplan now presented will take these shortcomings into account and provide sites for the facilities identified below:
- a community hall/sports hall;
- a sports pavilion;
- playing fields;
- a Citizens Advice Bureau;
- commercial uses including village shop, a bank,
- post office and other related services;
- a medical centre;
- local employment uses – workshops etc;
- affordable homes;
- one form entry primary school;
- a place of worship.
