Hunts Grove is a new sustainable community nestled at the edge of the Cotswold escarpment which combines the convenience of proximity to historic Gloucester with easy access to the M5 and the rural Severn Vale.
Planning approval was granted on July 2008 for a development of 105 Ha of land for 1,750 dwellings. This includes a neighbourhood centre with business uses such as small supermarket, doctors’ surgery, shops, a church, pub and restaurants. Adjacent is the primary school with places for 420 children. To further enhance the environment there is planned recreational open space, sports pitches /play facilities, allotments and community hall.
